About Us

About ETC

Eligencia Training Center (ETC) is a not-for-profit charitable organization that exists to engage Youth through science in inquiry and critical thinking.  Specifically, we are focused on ensuring that youth are engaged in science through hands-on minds-on activities, learn from other youth in the environment, learn from models (undergraduate students), decision-making and acting while exploring STEM and its Challenges.  We do this through two major program areas, in both official languages: mathematics and engineering (structures, civil and mechanical engineering), computing science and engineering (AI, Robotics).  We offer educational workshops to encourage young people to stay in school. Specifically for the world of science and technology, we aim to spark interest among young people, especially underrepresented groups, so they can become interested in and pursue studies in the STEM fields. All workshops help develop skills related to science and technology while also covering the field of mathematics. Our training workshops consolidate the concepts and knowledge that children acquire during their formal education in their schools and form a solid foundation for their current learning. Our training sessions motivate young people to develop a strong interest in STEM fields, so they can become the innovators of a robust and growing society.  The learning pathways go from theory to interactive demonstrations, from imaginary to the visual, and from the classroom to on-site visits or labs/museums visits.  We target youth aged 12-18.
